Welcome to the Orange County VAB site designed Pursuant to Florida Statute 194.035 (1), the VAB Clerk is in the process of compiling a list of potential candidates, including both attorneys and appraisers, to serve as Special Magistrates to hear issues of property exemptions and classifications, as well as issues of real property valuations and/or tangible personal property valuation. Through its focus on commitment, the VAB strives to ensure that all proceedings are in compliance with statutory requirements, and that all taxpayers are granted specific rights by Florida law concerning VAB procedures. With this in mind, and realizing that important changes are occurring within the Department of Revenue, we urge you to familiarize yourself with current DOR training requirements in addition to those administrative rule changes taking effect on March 30, 2010. The following information and links will assist you while submitting your appointment application.
